END OF SEMESTER ONE

yeas semester one is finally over...
but ytd was 2 hours lecture by the principal,
vice-principal and the various subject heads...
so sian la i fell asleep midway cos it was like repeating...
for each subject, expectations, and of course the actual grades.
in the end, the sec 4 cohort only got L1R5 of 17.1 i tink
when we were expected to obtain 11.0
then to make things even worse, the school set a 10.0 target.
it is like impossible la... how to... be realistic...
if our schl was to obtain 10.0 i seriously think a huge revamp is
needed, new teachers, new subject heads and of course new leaders...
nvm about all that
anyway june hols are here yeas!
time to rest
time to play
time to slack.
but this year is different
it is olvl year.
so bo bian must study
but i tink of study then sian liao
mayb i shld discipline myself.
hope i can at least go through my sciences cos did badly for MYE
phy spa skill 3 is on next thurs.
then oso have class bbq at pasir ris park
but then i discovered 4 JUNE is my bro bday

so i dun think i goin lor

last year oso had bbq on 4 JUNE la and then couldnt go

hahas it was such a huge week.
received back many results
and most had me taken aback.
tink i was too complacent this time,
thinking that my little studying time will do...
extremely disappointed.
especially for bio
i merely got C5 after all the weeks i had studied for.
i felt quite sad for bio not cos it was the most but
that was the one i wasted most of my time on.
so sian la. i was hoping for big improvements
but end up with extreme drops.
Life is indeed full of ups and downs. BUT i am not discouraged
after sorting out my thoughts i decided to work harder
after all isnt working harder the key to success,
ORANGE ALERT~ BIO, JAP(Just took test 2dae sure fail)
YELLOW ALERT~ EL, PHY, EMATHS
GREEN ALERT ~ HCL, CHEM, AMATHS, COMBINED HUMANITIES
hahas. looks like i got a lot of work to do!
must pull up my socks or i will get thrashed again!

Prejudice. For EL.

erm...
prejudice is defined as an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
it is also any preconceived opinion or feeling, either favorable or unfavorable.
synonyms of prejudice are bias, preconception, prepossess.
ok! now for my own opinions...
an example is when i was around 10,
i was not selected for my class's soccer team
because i was too short zzz...
yeas i was not chosen because of my height.
my other classmates reckon i could not save a high ball...
nevertheless i was still on the bench for the
inter-class soccer competition.
in the end, my class lost at the quarter finals
so it was kind of like sweet revenge
since they never choose me, they cannot win! haha!
no la, actually i was quite sad.
after all, it is still my class's soccer team.
yup that was a situation when i was faced with prejudice.

now time for learning points:
Life is all about prejudice.
you just need to learn to live with it.
do not be sad or angry.
just give your best for everything.
The world is unfair
but u need to learn how to live with this unfairness.
for instance students from good schools are thought to be better than neighbourhood schools
and in my case in my third language class, the RGS girls are totally outscoring me by 50 marks or so... so quite sad la. Prejudice and unfairness are vicious cycles.
if you keep comparing yourself with others better than you, you will definitely feel it is unjust.
just live with it!
Life is not a bed of roses after all...

What is a reflex action?
A reflex action is an immediate response to a specific stimulus in higher animals.

State two reflex actions involving glands as effectors.
Upon seeing sour plum, salivary glands secrete saliva.
When dust gets into eyes, tear glands secrete tear.

Describe a simple spinal reflex action.
An example is when the hand touches a hot object unknowingly. The heat from the object stimulated the nerve endings in one's skin. Nerve impulses produced travel along the sensory neurone to the spinal cord. In the spinal cord, nerve impulses are first transmitted across a synapse to a relay neurone and then transmitted across another synapse to the motor neurone. The nerve impulses leave the spinal cord along the motor neurone to the effector which is the biceps muscle in the upper arm. The muscle then contracts to withdraw the hand suddenly.

State a test which must be carried out necessarily before exposing the plant to light and explain why.

A is the erector muscle. B is the blood capillaries.

Describe and explain the immediate responses of A and B when cold water was splashed onto the skin suddenly.

EOY BIO quite no time study, so i shld be

Exams are over!!!

Yea! Exams are finally over!!!
Now to sum up:
Amaths was average got 2-3 qns not veri sure...
SS i reali study hard for Sri Lanka but then only one part got Sri Lanka and the other was Northern Ireland which i forgotten so i wrote SEQ on Singapore...
Tink i wouldnt score well for SS quite disappointed... (em0)
EL was difficult for passage A but passage B quite ok
History Hooray Came out on WHY ALLIES WIN AND MOVING TOWARDS WAR
which i study hard on and could do but didnt reali finish it quite abrupt
Chem was a difficult paper for all but i could handle it haha got some careless mistakes though
but i study quite a lot during weekends as i didnt care bout Physics
yea Physics for the first time i didnt screw it!!! Hooray! I didnt learn much but thankfully revison for the class and common tests helped me a lot hopefully can get first Physics A1 in a major examination
chinese got some hanzi wrong sianzzz but i didnt learn much cos physics paper ended quite late
Bio is probably my worst paper this time cos the lack of time to study plus the many memorising stuff that simply makes me puke... B4 would be a realistic target
Emaths was quite tough i was doin until very happy cos first few qns i like all know but Q7, 8 i both stuck then no paper so i took a total of 3 papers more cos got some pages i cancel off my wrong workings... minus a t least 10 marks... most probably more... emo...
Yea!!!
thats all for the EOY stuff...
Now for the results ba...
Hopefully i can score well as i have a habit of blowing it up in EOY...
My CA all quite impressive sia... lolz
i tink so given my standard...
haha now hearing Jay Chou 稻香 quite nice i like it...

Hi guys!
i am finally bck...
zzz paper 1 finally over
english was quite ok like always la
average ba hope can get at least 21 for both
chinese bao zhang bao dao was ok la
about the table tennis stars not welcomed bck
tink i did average lor aiming to get 49 haha
the gong han is about the bus company biao yang
plus jian yi it was ok la
got plenty of ideas lor so thankfully can finish
chinese was quite rushed la seriously...
luckily when i saw jia hao's speed,
i chiong lor so jus nice la still got 5 mins
sianzzz la mr hamdan was sketching my potrait lor
cos he was bored to death waiting for us to finish...

i come bck from 3rd lan or cca
and 2 projects
1stly, the ss project due on tuesday
and 2ndly the jap project on fri
ss project is dead man
looks like no one is interested in doin...

that means it would take a longer time lor
and jap is gone also
cos the jap pro not comin, jap noob too noob
and jap average ppl like me gotta pull up socks
zzz... relly frustrated when ppl dun wanna do
or show little interest in team projects...

Holiday Monday

Yeas!
2dae was a holiday
due to the national day falling on a saturday,
the school had no choice
but to reluctantly "return" us the holiday
haha!
really needed this long but seemingly short break
however i left some hw untouched....
chem ws was chao hard
ss was like 5 mins but not veri gd work i guess.
as for chinese zuo wen,
i always did it veri early
for this time i completed on friday...
haha so like finished 1/3 of the hw
hav ss and history tests coming up
ss veri sianzzz all memory work
my memory is failing me these days
hopefully, i can memorise in time lor
history i dun even noe test wad chap
but since its SBQ it shld be fine
feeling dam sianzzz cos 2moro got schl agn
and periods like emaths and phys are goin to bore me...
anyway i haven blog bout my new seating plan
yea had a new seating place
4th row and in the middle of the class i suppose...
wei zong didnt change and
janus went behind wei zong as he took my seat
while aaron went to the 5th row and yong chen at the left back
beside me is xuan jie and janice, in front is yi rong
behind is lynn
thankfully, aaron is at my right diagonal
which means i still had someone rather close to me
however aaron is always emoing
my new seat also gives me a lot of trouble
teachers like CZH always walk to the middle and teach
which means i have to pay full and undivided attention always...
but it is quite gd in the sense that yong chen wont disturb me agn
but then i quite miss his silly questions and constant pestering
haha no offence yong chen...

NDP EVE Friday

Ok so 2dae was NDP celebration...
Quite sianzzz...
our class alot ppl performing or marching
after all the ndp stuff,
i went home with wei zong
waited for him to buy his "zhou"
then we finally went in search of a bus stop with bus 17
finally found it in the end
then me and wei zong departed on our separate ways
he went ahead to another bus stop for bus 66
then i boarded 17 and was slping
then suddenly, a tall BB guy boarded the bus...
i realised the bus stop he waited was the one
janus brought me last time...
it was a much shorter journey lor
but nvm now at least i noe more places to take 17...
ok so i continued slping and slping
then reached my stop lehs...
lucky someone pressed the "Bus Stopping" thingy
cos i forgot to...
hehes...
after that i went home play com
tried out various minclip games
so now i ask yong chen bout the bb guy...
I tought he was captain or leader or sumting
cos he lead the ndp today
but then yong chen claimed he is not the best
cos hav the other few such as yong chen who went for the real Ndp

Amazing Sunday

heys...
I am back agn
after a long spell of time...
due to huge demand(hahas,jkjk)
Went to East Coast Park
For 2.4km run...
which was relatively ok
I timed myself and got 10 mins
haha yea so happy
but then my position not that gd
only 107...
I started last cos everyone veri kiasu
then i with masaki's fren
then we chiong lor
and finally overtook some ppl that slowed down
lucky my leg not pain
or elese i sure stop
anway stations 1 to 5 was a breeze
stations 6 to 10 was "Jiayou!!!"
stations 10 to 11 was so freaking long....
stations 11 to 13 was sianzzz when am i reaching?
station 14 which was last was "Jiayou, jiayou!"
Heard ppl calling my name lor
shld be the wushu ppl
anyway thx for cheering me on!

Long Thursday

Heys...
Goin to make this a short one...
cos i goin to sleep mah...
Today was long thursday cos schl end at 3.10
and wushu end at 6 plus plus plus!
Today lessons were boring
but the physics test was relatively ok
dun say so much first later score low lol
I think its ok la can score A1 i happy
Anyway today have the C boys and C girls
basketball finals...
wushu was postponed to 5 plus cos of that
and the painting of the tower hall
The coach was like sianzzz
waiting for the basketball match to end
like so sad... haha... can slack sia
anyway, C girls lost to dunman while C boys thrashed dunman
the score was 107:42 if i could rmb correctly!
haha wushu started at 5 cos of that
but then i went changing and slacking so start
at around 5:30 for mi lor
then 6 end liao lol
only half an hour learn some new moves or quan...

Hey everyone!
Just came back from jap and tired...
Anyway, i heard that our class got thrashed.
We lost to 3H 1:5 in soccer... lolzzz
we like so noob...
anyways i predicted liao...
with jeremie around only, its like gg...
Jose got physics stuff, I got third lan,
I think Priscilla injured...
Once 3H mark jeremie its doom!
and thats what i think was their gameplan.
I think 3H key players were qing hui and joshua
Simple: ask the 3 other 3H dudes to mark jeremie lor!
So sad! i think we out liao i wanted to play sia then out...
If only i could play
If only Jose could play
If only Priscilla not injured
If Jeremie can solo own
But then its like all ifs....
mayb 3H really prozzz...
didnt see lor so dunnoe...
Anyways these few day my test results were poor
I just passed bio and could have gotten full marks for amaths
if not for some careless mistakes...
wei zong, aaron, yong chen and janus areway ahead of me in bio
but then cannot blame myself
cos the day b4 bio test i didnt really revise
due to my headache
and cough and sickness and my early sleep habit
that equates to me not revising much
and thus the poor results...
but nvm the discouraged myself will pull up my socks
hopefully 2moro is better
I think i goin to rest soon very tired la today
my eyes closing automatically liao...

Heys, i am blogging agn...
Just finished watching tv for like 2 hours,
then i super sianzzz...
Anyway 2moro hav Nafa test....
Dam depressed cos i sure tio ownz
but then i not that care liao...
even if u get gold also doesnt mean u get gold forever.
just learnt a saying from a tv show
'Getting good things is not always a good thing,
cos it also means u have a chance that u may lose the good thing,
getting bad things is not always a bad thing,
cos it also means u have a chance to get rid of the bad thing...'

erm today's highlight was probably
my conversation with my primary school friend...
long lost friend lol
actually my mother knew his mother man lol!
then he asked me for my email cos he wanted to email something to me,

then he nvr really laugh la but i could tell he was shocked.

2dae was very chiong...
Doin hw in the morning cos goin out later
to my ah ma hse...
The weekends would be relaxed
as for the first time since like last year there is only one test next week.
But sadly, its physics...

I am really poor when it comes to physics,
applications to the formulas really twisted my brain...
Anyway, i must jiayou, gambateh!!!
Anyway, monday got PE which means Naufal(dunno how spell) Test,
I sure get bronze agn sias so sianzzz...
My class the boys all very strong lor...
My weak spot shld be the standing board jump.
Sit-ups and inclined pull-ups shld be fine...
Then hopefully sit and reach can ownage!!!
Cos wushu always practice haha!
then for 2.4km run i will get like 3 or 4 points.
Although running is not my strong part but then not that bad...
Standing board jump would mean gg!!!

Haha, once agn I have created another blog...
Its like the fifth or sixth time lor.
